Welcome to the journey of Red Rooster, a narrative that took root in 1990 when a charming European couple found their home on the scenic Naramata Bench.

For over 25 years, Red Rooster has been calling the Naramata Bench home, making wines that are full of character, confidence, and a little bit of swagger. We take winemaking seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Wine should be fun, after all.
From the scenic hills of the Naramata Bench, we craft wines that are approachable, expressive, and made for real life, the kind you open on a Tuesday just as happily as for a celebration. Thoughtfully made, never too serious, our wines are meant to be shared, talked about, and enjoyed.

Our Winemaker

Cameron Laverock

Raised in the Okanagan, Cam discovered his passion for winemaking during his first harvest in 2016. The fast-paced, hands-on nature of the work pulling him away from a path in the lab.

After several vintages across the region, he brought his curiosity and craft to Red Rooster, where he continues to build on its legacy. His approach mirrors his personality: laid-back, but precise. Focused on consistency, balance, and wines that speak for themselves.

Cam’s work centres on classic BC varietals, crafted clean and expressive, always with the goal of being shared and enjoyed.

Our vineyard is more than the source of our wines; and it’s the foundation of our philosophy. Diverse soils, thoughtful farming practices, and a deep connection to the rhythms of the season shape fruit that truly reflects its origin. Each harvest is an expression of the Bench, capturing the landscape, climate, and spirit that define Red Rooster.
