Often,people exclaim they "don't know anything about art". However, I find just the opposite to be true. The deeply insightful comments I hear at art shows, prove that's not the case. Everyone who approaches a painting comes with a unique vision, intuition and experience. I enjoy seeing the instinctive and emotional response when people react to my art.
Derrick Higgins's work been exhibited in galleries in Haliburton, Scarborough and Toronto. With painting and prints in private collections throughout Canada, United States and England. Having recently relocated to West Kelowna, BC. Member of the H.E.A.C.T., S.A.C., Cedar Ridage Gallery.
