Gary Langrish was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. As a child, he was always drawing and received early recognition of his ability with many awards during his school years.
Although primarily self-taught, Gary has developed his talent through workshops from professional artists and his own personal passion. Langrish is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Brushstrokes of the South Okanagan in Penticton and the Pallette Club in Kelowna.
Gary paints in oils and acrylics. He covers a wide variety of subject matter and his impressionistic style is enlivened with the use of rich and vibrant colour. His paintings have been accepted into various juried shows at the FCA Gallery in Vancouver. His artworks are found in private and corporate collections throughout North America.
Gary currently resides and paints in Kelowna, British Columbia. |
