Pinot Noir 2010
ABOUT THE WINE
The grapes for our Pinot Noir come from several vineyards in the southern Okanagan. The Pinot Noir grapes were cold soaked for 3 days and fermented on the skins for 7 days. The wine then spent 9 months aging in 1 year old French oak barrels.
Production of 347cases.
TASTING NOTES
A bright cherry red colour with a bouquet of grilled cherry, red berry, a whiff of smoke and a touch of red licorice. This gentle, loving Rooster has a light to medium frame with pure fruit flavours of cherry and red berry. The food-friendly acidity brings excitement and the soft tannins assist in building structure. Fresh red cherries and a touch of classic Pinot Noir earthiness linger on the finish. Enjoy while young and vibrant.
